The Gate

Grandiose gate with its nice, upscale design and the rustic fountain and colourful landscape that adds to its beauty and character.

Safety and security is of utmost priority thus we have a 24/7 security team to guard the residential enclave. Northpoint also has an advance professional security program equipped with CCTV that features smart video analytics called the Geovision system. This technology includes face and scene change detection, counting of people, object, or vehicles, detection of missing and unattended objects, and visual automation. The system also provides integration solutions such as POS Integration and License Plate Recognition.

The CCTV attached to the main gate is accessible through your cable TV powered by Home Channel.

Wakefield Manor

The centerpiece of Northpoint’s amenities is its grand clubhouse, called Wakefield Manor, built in distinct British-colonial architecture inspired from the White House.

Wakefield Manor is named after Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, North Carolina, a tranquil residential neighborhood set amidst picturesque parks, rolling hills, stately old trees, and well-kept playgrounds. Although built within a natural setting, Wakefield Plantation is just a stone’s throw away from the city and all its modern conveniences.

This is the essence of Wakefield Manor, the fully-equipped clubhouse outfitted with modern amenities such as recreation hall, fitness gym, grill pits, cabanas, meditation pond, a one-of-a-kind wellness swimming pool with salinated water, and an al fresco coffee shop.

White House

At the highest elevation of Northpoint is the colonial plantation dwelling built by Ker, now called the White House or The Mansion, perched on a verdant hill of green grass and dotted with statuesque age-old Acacia trees, with new imported Caribbean pine trees growing robustly around it.

Robert Ker purportedly viewed his abaca plantation from the White House’s tall, wide windows that gave him a vantage view at all angles. It is believed that the elevation gave him a feel of the highlands of Scotland.

This magnificent European-style house stood sentinel over Davao’s transformation, from its plantation years to the bustling metropolis that it is now fast becoming. For the many decades it had stood on that prominent hill, it was an imposing sight from below, waxing mystique over the fertile imagination of young and not-so-young Davaoeños who would cast an upward glance each time they passed by it.

Over the years, the White House had become a local landmark, remembered as a place to play by those lucky enough to have had access to its vast lawns. The rest of the people contented themselves with gazing at the house atop the hill, aspiring to see it first-hand in its old grandeur.

Now, as it stands still amidst the modern development of Camella Northpoint, the White House holds its own as a symbol of good living, something that Davaoñeos are proud to be known for. It provides the inspiration for the master plan development of Northpoint as Camella pursues development that respects the existing architecture of this iconic structure.
